EDIT: His name is Tangent.

This is my Muse. He doesn't really have a name that he's told me, and until I was "introduced" to a certain Deceiver of the Excrucians he had black hair. But now, every time he's being difficult and unhelpful (which is usually when he's an anthropomorphic personification) he's decided he has red hair.

He's a vampire (non-sparkling kind) because he works late at night. Usually when I'm trying to sleep he gives me these grandiose and awe inspiring ideas knowing I'm too tired to get up and fish for a pen and paper, sleepy to the point that I convince myself I'll remember in the morning, and very rarely actually do remember at all.

He also likes to sip red wine annoyingly when I have writers block to grind my nerves.

However, he is a genius. Some of the most awesome, original and pretty much all of my favorite pieces I've ever done are because of him, and jerk face or not, I wouldn't trade the bastard.

So I've decided its time the world knew about him. I'm going to name him at some point, if he doesn't decide to tell me one day soon, but you will probably be seeing him pop up in my for fun works along with his pal Frank the Sheep.

(Frank the sheep is a very long story for another post and solely My Muse's fault when we were... of altered perceptions in our teenage years. More on that later.)

I should write a book. "A Crazy Girl With Her Pencil And Her Muse".

Yes. This. I love his snagglefang and 'meh' smile. And the glass of red. I'm sure it's a very fine vintage and there's no way he's interrupting his enjoyment of it for love or money.

No. Not at all. He's been holding on to that bottle for the netter part of my life (every bottle he says this) and he is going to enjoy it, and will consider aiding me when he is done and then, and ONLY then, will he CONSIDER it.

He's of course being very interested and good right now, giving me awesome ideas that make me love him because I'm giving him such praises and attention, but I'm having to keep him focused on the task at hand with stained glass and Beings From Outside Reality. He's mumbling, but providing.
