Damon Salvatore, one of the main characters from Lisa Jane Smith's series The Vampire Diaries, and my favorite book series to date.

I first read them when I was 10 yrs old, and I just reread them recently (for the fifty-millionth time) and was inspired to draw this.

Italian, play boy vampire extrordinaire. One of my favorite book characters of all time, even if he was a raging jerk most of the time. The depth with which she wrote Damon, left me begging for more. So many unanswered questions and lack of closure.... GAH! I love him! he's great.

I'm very, VERY excited for The culmination of the final trilogy.

This is really cool. Damon is definatelymy favorite character, especially in the last book, where he's all protective-liek with Elana ^.^ I CANNOT wait for the new books D D A WHOLE BOOK ABOUT DAMON! *squee!* *feels liek super-fangurl*

wow very nice.. I"m reading Vampire Diaries -The Fury and Dark Reunion right now for the first time, and I agree he is very .. dazzling. the bad boy image and how cryptic he is.. :giggle:

Yep, I think you really captured his character ^^ , I loved those books and Damon was for sure one of my favorite characters, especially toward the end of the books. I've only read 2 of the books.. are there more in the series? Or does the third one start with some random new people, like I thought it did?

I like it. It's good how you incorporated both his animal forms too. Definitely send it to Ms Smith. I think she'd like it. :)
